You can make travel plans to visit Kullu from March to June and September to February. The summer months (March to June) and winter months (October to March) is the best time to visit Kullu.

March to June has longer daytime hours and therefore will have more time to do sightseeing. This is also the peak tourist season in Kullu. Temperatures during the day are around 30 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees at night. The weather is pleasant during summer and there is very little rainfall.

In the winter season, particularly December and January there is snowfall in Kullu with zero degrees temperatures at night.

October and November are excellent months to visit Kullu. You can play around with snow and do snow-related activities.

Kullu Valley is full of snow during the winter season. October and November are best time to visit Kullu. Temperatures during the day can range from 5 to 10 degrees Celsius. But at night these can drop to -7 degrees Celsius. But the view of snow-clad mountains, glaciers, river streams, and pine forests will make you love Kullu. There are fewer tourists in winter so you will have more freedom to move around.

Winter sports activities like skiing, zorbing, and snow scooters are a hit with tourists during this time. Hotel rates are cheaper. Some roads and attractions, like Hampta Pass, and Rohtang Pass are closed during this time. There can be heavy snowfall, so stay updated as to the weather and snowfall if you are visiting Kullu during winter.
