Shrikhand Mahadev Trek Info

The Shrikhand Mahadev Trek is a difficult trek that lasts 5-6 days. The trail passes through rocky terrain, steep mountain slopes, snowy ridges, glaciers, and river streams.

Shimla is the main city from which you will get transport for this trek. The trek route that tourists normally follow is Chandigarh > Shimla > Rampur > Nirmand > Bagipul > Jaon.

The route is open only from July to August. You can take cabs or buses from Shimla to Jaon, Nirmand, and Rampur. Jaon is a small village and it is the base for the Shrikhand Mahadev Trek. The trek distance is 35 km (one side) and 70 km in total.
