The Tulip Festival is just 20 days, but in this duration, you can see the most colorful varieties of tulips in the Tulip Garden in Srinagar. There are trees too, and many flowers like daffodils, hyacinths, and others.

About the Tulip Festival

The government hosts the Tulip Festival in Srinagar for tourists so that they can watch the beautiful tulip flowers. The government brought these tulips originally from the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens in Amsterdam.

Currently, 73 different varieties of tulips are grown here. You can see rows and rows of tulip flowers in striking colors. It is estimated that there are around 1.5 million tulip bulbs in this Tulip Garden.

The tulips are a visual treat to your eyes. Tourists can eat delicious dishes and also buy souvenirs from outside the garden. There are kiosks exhibiting Kashmiri handicrafts also.
