1.) Parijaat Tree
Parijaat Tree is located near the Civil Line area of Sultanpur. According to Hindu mythology, this tree is legendary and mythical. Dhopap Temple lies in Tehsil Lambhua. Its geographical location is on the right bank of the River Gomti on Sultanpur-Jaunpur route (NH-56) at a distance of 32 Kms south from Sultanpur city, 85 Kms from Ayodhya, and 8 Kms each from Lohramau and Kadipur.
According to Vishnu Puran, Gomti was then known in this tract as Dhutopapa before striking in from the east and forming a loop near Dhopap before taking a sudden bend to the south-east. And a Dhopap Ghat has been constructed to enable people to emulate Rama and cleanse themselves of their sins in the river.
